Executive Assistant – Full-Time
Location: Saskatchewan
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Flexible hours will be considered, Occasional weekend work required
About SVFFA
The Saskatchewan Volunteer Fire Fighters Association (SVFFA) is expanding! We're looking for a dedicated and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our growing organization and work closely with our Executive Director. Key Responsibilities
As Executive Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the smooth operation of SVFFA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing general administrative support across the organization
- Managing member communications, including issuing member cards and decals
- Assisting and backing up the Executive Director as needed
- Supporting the coordination of regional training schools and training programs
- Participating in weekend training school operations as required
- Organizing Board of Directors meetings, recording and distributing minutes
- Updating and maintaining the SVFFA website (basic web design skills a plus)
- Managing shared email and phone responsibilities with the Executive Director
- Learning and understanding the scope of the Executive Director’s role for potential future leadership opportunities
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated and capable professional who brings:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively
- Basic IT literacy and web design experience (preferred)
- Availability for occasional weekend duties
- A passion for public safety and community service
